The Lines - A necessary pause between storms.

After pushing deep into the layered chaos of the circles, these works came from a need to strip everything back. Paint markers and a single gesture — line after line — after line - until the whole canvas is covered.

At first, the simplicity felt almost underwhelming, but the repetition became its own kind of meditation — a reset, a recalibration, a reminder that changes in artistic process and the process of life, often start with a single mark.

And even though it started as a break, the pull never left.
I still come back to the lines — in prints (coming soon), in small works on paper, and anytime I feel the need to start and. finish. The simplicity keeps teaching me something new.

The Lines marks the space between phases: not the culmination of creativity, but the breath taken before the next evolution.
